We got together in the summer of '10, after knowing each other since we were 15 or so. Fast forward almost a decade and we live in a tiny house on 5 acres outside of Brisbane, Australia. Our tiny house is a 1979 caravan that we affectionately named Rexann. Like most people, we adore travelling. Instead of flying to countries overseas, our desire is to continue exploring Australia in more depth. In fact, in mid-2016 we spent a month driving 10,000 kms around Australia.
A bit about us
We also enjoy living simply at home. We live, work and sleep in a 1979 pop-top caravan. Our caravan is surrounded by lots of space. We find the space lends itself to fuelling our creative inspiration. The trees sway. The sun rises and sets. Everything feels connected when we're at home. We're into designing, photographing and working with brands that beat to the rhythm of their own drum. Thank you so much for reading. — James and Steph

ABOUT THE BLOG
Most of the content on our site has been created by us. We shoot wherever we go — whether we're at home, travelling or somewhere in between. We shoot all of our images with our Nikon D7000 with a 55mm lens. Occasionally, we will use our iPhone 5c. We then process all of our images in Lightroom using a filter that we created. Depending on the post, we then add typography in Photoshop. For typefaces, we use a mixture of our own typeface, existing typefaces and hand lettering. To create our original typeface, Viscount, we drew all of the letters by hand, edited them in Photoshop, then put them into a piece of typeface software that ensures the kerning, ligatures and spacing are accurate. Our hand lettering is drawn on paper, scanned and then edited in Photoshop. If we are shooting on our iPhone we use VSCO CAM for editing images.
Our blog runs on the WordPress platform and is a custom designed site by us.
We no longer build websites (outside of maintaining our own). Though we've enjoyed building websites for clients in the past, it isn't something we are able to focus on any longer. If you'd like a web developer recommendation from us, please email us here.
